Modern Cylinder Head History

Modern Cylinder Head Inc.(MCH) is owned and operated by Jeff Kobylski. He graduated from Oakland University with a BS in biochemistry. Jeff started porting cylinder heads back in 1991. He built heads for many NHRA Top Fuel racers: Kenny Bernstein, Don Prudhomme, Dean Skuza, and Roland Leong just to name a few. Thus Modern Cylinder Head Incorporated was started in 1996. We port all types of heads from full blown race cars to mild street cars. One of our main avenue's is in the NHRA Super Stock and Comp Eliminator class. Many racers in these two classes run all Modern Cylinder Head products in there cars. There are many racers or just street enthusiast that run our cylinder heads, camshafts, and intake manifolds on there car. Whether it's street driving or all out drag racing we can set you on the right track. MCH has some of the latest equipment that you would find in a high end cylinder head shop.

Shop Equipment
Here at MCH we have lots of equipment that you would find in the cylinder head industry. Not only can we hand port heads but now we are fully capable of CNC heads also. We have a Fadal five simultaneous axis CNC machine. Our machine is capable of porting heads to converting manifolds with a standard carb opening to a dominator flange.
